Friendships And Honesty

I recently recieved not one but two awards from Bethany at Confessions Of A Mom Of Four. She awarded me with the ‘Love ya award’. I am happy to recieve this award from Bethany as I love to visit her inspirational blog. I am also excited that she will join our family this saturday at my daughters 3rd birthday party!
The other award is the ‘The Honest Scrap Award’. For this award I need to share 10 honest things about myself. Here we go:
- I actually think I have it easier having two kids 16 months apart than people who have two kids two and half years apart. Two and half seems to be the ‘jealousy peak’ with a lot of children.
- When I learn of friends finding out they are pregnant I kind of wish that I was pregnant again.
- I am thinking that I would like to have baby #3 in 2011. But I would be ok with a ‘surprise’.
- I plan on giving birth to baby #3 at home.
- I would love to have a lot of children – I am thinking 6 or 8.
- I often feel that I fall short of being the kind of mother and homemaker I would like to be.
- I never try to hurt people’s feeling on purpose I have never even purposely done anything to hurt my husband. But I often worry if I have offended others.
- When others offend me I keep telling myself that most likely that person did not mean to.
- During our marriage JJ and I have lived in 9 different homes in 5 different cities in 3 different states.
- I try to keep in contact with old friends but after several attempts of emailing, commenting on their blogs or facebook with no reply back from them I just figure they don’t want to be friends and I give up. This hurts my self esteem a bit but finding new friends helps
Here are 5 bloggers whose friendships I value. I am giving you both the ‘love ya award’ and ‘ The Honest Scrap’ award.
- Kara - We met through blogging and then met in person several months ago. She has three adorable boys.
- Emily – I met Emily through the Attachment Parenting group here in Utah. Reading her blog is what inspires me the most to want a home birth and she also inspired me to just let Sariah go to bed without a diaper on.
- Kristina - Kristina is JJ’s brothers wife. They are the family members we get to see the most often. My daughters love her and get a little crazy when she’s around.
- Sara-Jayne – My twin sister and first friend. She doesn’t blog very often but someday she will become addicted
- Amber – I have to add my sister-in-law Amber here because she is the one who got me into blogging!
I would like to give this award to everyone who visits my blog but I just want to let everyone know that I really appreciate every visit and comment I recieve.
