It is fun to watch my hometown host the Olympics but I’m sure it would be way more fun to be at home right now. I was talking to my Mom and sister on the phone yesterday and they mentioned how they got to meet Alexandre Bilodeau, the olympic athlete to win Canada’s first gold [...]
This is a picture of me several years ago at GM Place on the day we found out that Vancouver would be hosting the 2010 Olympics! I still have that towel which I have to continually save from JJ who tries to use it to clean something! The ‘Decision Day’ at GM Place was so [...]
Back when JJ and I were engaged he said that a dream of his was to take his children to a college football game. He admits that at that time he was thinking of a Tennessee game, however on Saturday he took Sariah to a BYU football game (my cousin gave him a ticket). Saturday morning he [...]
I found out last night why NBC did not show the opening ceremonies live, so they could add in a bunch of commercials without cutting out any of the show. Anyways the show was amazing! The rest of the time I was watching a documentary on PBS “The Mormons”, you can read more about my thoughts on that documentary here. The Ducks are now leading the series 3-1 so if they just win one more game, [...]
I admit, I was too tired to finish listening to the Vancouver Canuck/ Anaheim Ducks game that went into overtime but I was happy to learn that after loosing their first game (5 – 1) of this 2nd playoff round – the Canucks won 2 – 1! The series is now tied 1 – 1.
