Miriam At 3 Months Old

Miriam turned 13 weeks old yesterday and since we weighed and measured Sariah at 13 weeks old we decided to do the same with Miriam. Unfortunately we don’t have statistics for Bekah at 3 months. Since we have a scale and measuring tape we don’t need to have someone with a health care career do this, we can do it right at home.
Miriam is 13 pounds even – exactly what Sariah was at 13 weeks! However Miriam is taller. Sariah was 22 inches and Miriam is 24.5 inches. According to this height/weight percentiles chart Miriam is in the 52nd percentile for weight and 76th for height. So little Sariah who is still below the 3rd percentile for height will be the oldest of the 3 sisters and will probably end up being the shortest.
3 months is a fun age. It is so cute to see Miriam get excited when playing with her sisters or when daddy comes home. She can move along the floor by pushing her heels against the floor! Miriam is drooling a lot and bites down on her fingers so I wonder if she might be teething. Rebekah’s first two teeth came through at 3 months old so it is possible!
