Gruene 2 In 1 Steam Cleaner Review

I was so excited when I was chosen to receive one of the Gruene 2 in 1 steam cleaners to review. I was actually looking into buying a steam mop because mopping the floors is my least favourite chore and I liked the idea of killing the bacteria with steam instead of chemicals.
The Gruene Steam Cleaner was easy to set up and use. It only takes 30 seconds for the water to heat up hot enough to turn into steam that will kill bacteria. I read a review where someone had said that the steamer leaves a lot of water behind on their floors. This is certainly not my experience! I have used the steam mop 3 times already and I haven’t had any water puddles on the floor, in fact the floor dries super fast with the waffle cleaning pad it comes with and even faster when used with a microfiber cloth – that is another great thing about this machine is that you can snap in any cloth that you want.
The steam mop turns into a hand held steamer which is wonderful. I have the hardest time cleaning out gunk from the dishwasher but with the powerful spray of this steamer, steaming the gunk out was so much easier! Another of my favourite uses is sanitizing my children’s toys, just spray for 15 seconds to disinfect. Both the day care and preschool I worked for would have us clean the toys with a water and bleach spray and leave them out to dry – I wouldn’t want my baby sucking on a toy with bleach residue on it!

It looks very interesting, thanks for the demo. I just wish there was a dealer close to my home, the nearest seems to be about twenty miles from me. If someone from Gruene reads this, I hope that soon they have more than three dealers in the Metro Phoenix area, one in the Mesa or Tempe area would be nice as well.
Better yet, I hope they might sell them through Amazon so I don’t have to drive at all, lol.

Do you still have the Gruene Steam mop? Is it still working up to your expectations. I’m looking at buying one, yet wonder if all the attachments work really well on showers, windows, sinks, ect .. also, is it really durable? Do you have to use distilled water?
Thank you for your input & video.

Thank you for your question, Robyn.
I much prefer this steam mop over a mop and bucket. It makes cleaning floors quick and easy and you can just use tap water. However I don’t like the attachments it comes with. It didn’t get any grime off the bathtub or sink and the manual says that the pressure could cause windows to break so I haven’t tried using it on windows. The only thing the attachments have been useful for me is cleaning the dishwasher.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry that it has taken this long for me to get back to you.
You really provided me a whole lot of helpful feedback & now I’m torn if I should even bother getting one. It is about $150.00 & I was wanting it for performing miracle cleaning … I don’t know that anything out there exists for such a reasonable price!! I guess I’m just going to have to clean my bathrooms, ect the old way with just good old fashioned Comet & elbow grease.
Let me know if you run onto to another steam cleaning machine that works on showers.
THANK YOU again!!

I don’t think a Miracle cleaning device exists! I know, cleaning showers are not fun!!!
