Thrifty Shopper Thursday

I have several friends who want to know exactly what I buy when my grocery budget for my family of four is $150 a month. So every Thursday I will writing a “Thrifty Shopper Thursday” post and showcasing my purchases for the week. Hopefully I can help someone else save money at the grocery store. All coupons are from the Sunday paper unless otherwise noted.

I am loving Avocado’s right now. I bought some last week as well and I am keeping the seeds to plant. But since I’m the only one who eats them I’ll have to use some as face cream. Might not have the same effect as prevera but it would be fun :) Avocado’s are also a great first foods for babies so I’ll blend it up and freeze it for when the new baby begins solids.
