Are Gallbladder Flushes For Real?

A couple of weeks ago I was thinking of doing a gallbladder flush because I have heard of people with the same pain that I am experiencing do this and felt a lot better after wards and did not have any pain for several months.
However I had this same pain during the 3rd trimester of my first two pregnancies and no pain in the gallbladder area any other time. I am leaning towards this just being pregnancy related.
Also I am very cautious with any health procedure whether it be medical or homeopathic. Researching gallbladder flushes I have noticed that stones from a flush look very different than actual gallstones pictured on wikipedia. Defendants of the flush say that the solution you take causes the stones to look that way while some medical professionals say that it is the solution you take that causes the “stones”. So does this remedy actually flush stones out of your gallbladder or is just one of the best colon cleansers out there?
I don’t think anyone really knows because it seems like there has not been any actual scientific research on this or before and after ultrasounds done on the gallbladder – not that gallstones always show up on ultrasounds.
I guess everyone just needs to do what they feel is best regarding gallbladder pain. For me I’m just going to handle these last weeks the best I can and I’m pretty sure the pain will go away after the baby is born just like the first two times.
