I’m The “Biggest” Family Member

Rebekah, my 2 and half year old is now drawing people. Her people consist of a circle with two dots for eyes. Sometimes ovals for ears and a dot for a nose is drawn. For the past 3 days she has been drawing our family on her doodle pad several times a day.

I am a great big circle, JJ is a medium sized circle, her and Sariah are small circles and she draws “baby sister” separate from me as a tiny circle. I’m not sure why I am so much bigger than everyone else in the picture. Like I am a great big circle with two dots for eyes looking for safe weight loss pills.

Maybe it’s because I’m pregnant? but she draws the baby separately and even though my belly is bigger, JJ is still taller and weighs more than me. I think I will just keep on telling myself that my circle is so big because In Bekah’s view I’m the biggest (most important) person the family :)

Your daughter is cute and funny. :-) I guess kids see their mothers as their greatest strength. It’s a reality that most kids are much closer to their moms as what your daughter’s drawing implies. You must be proud. :-)
