How To Donate Current And Expired Coupons

With today being the 1st of April one of my plans for the day is to remove all the coupons that have expired in March from my coupon binder and throw them in the garbage.
Ever since I started couponing a year ago I have been meaning to find out how I can donate my expired coupons because some organizations can use coupons past their expiry date.
Today I read a blog article on what to do with expired coupons which gave me some good ideas. One idea I would like to try is giving my pet coupons to pet charities since I have no need for them. The other idea I would like to take on is to adopt a military base through the overseas coupon program. The coupons can help out other families and also help out the environment by recycling my coupons! Now I just need to decide which base to adopt. If you would like to also donate your expired coupons to a military base keep in mind that the people there can only manufactured coupons on the base so coupons for Target won’t work for them.

This is a great post. I am a strong advocate for helping others using coupons. The overseas military coupon program is a excellent way to use expired coupons. Also, many food shelves are starting to accept coupons to supplement the food they give out. Keep up the good work!!
