Monday Menu Planning

It is Monday again which means I get to cross off  ‘plan menu’ on my to do list. Which I like because it doesn’t take a lot of time and it is much more fun than the job of cleaning the bathroom. Here is what we are eating for dinner this week:

Monday – Main: Pizzas (2 Red Baron pizza’s that I got today for $1.75 each and since my freezer isn’t big enough to fit the boxes we have to eat it today. Side: Salad with spinach, romaine lettuce, mushrooms and red onion with creamy italian dressing.

Tuesday -  Main: Rice with chicken, carrots and peas. Side: Steamed Asparagus.

Wednesday -  St. Patrick’s Day meal! Main: Split pea soup with carrots and potatoes. Side: Irish oatmeal soda bread.

Thursday- Main: Spaghetti with homemade tomato zucchini sauce. Side: Salad.

Friday-  Veggie burgers and fries. It is Sariah’s 4th birthday and she loves burgers and fries so this is especially for her.

Saturday – Going to a birthday party that is providing a light dinner.

Sunday – Green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and mesquite chicken.
