From the moment we learn that we are going to have a new child, us moms begin to worry about that child and I’m sure that even after my children have children of their own I will still worry.

If my children sleep in later than usual I always worry and I go check on them. This morning was one of those times. Sariah woke up at 8:30 as I was rocking the baby I babysit to sleep.  After Sariah finished her oatmeal I began to worry about Bekah so I went to go check on her and she was not in her bed. I am pretty sure that my heart stopped beating for a moment until I noticed a foot twitching under her bed. Bekah has been known to sleep on the floor but I’ve never found her under her bed.

Experiencing what an important job motherhood is makes me laugh thinking about how important things like finding an acne treatment gel that worked used to be.

I may worry a lot but I sure would not trade motherhood in for anything!

Under the bed? That is unusual. I’ve heard of kids preferring the floor to their bed (although, I haven’t figured out why yet. Maybe that will come once I have my own kids choosing the floor), but never under the bed.
