I always try to do our taxes as early as I can. I am so happy that I was able to finish out taxes yesterday. Turbo Tax makes doing taxes so easy but still, I was ready for a nap after finishing! I tried using the free version last year but still doing everything for my blogging income was really confusing so I used the $30 program and it was a breeze. I don’t earn enough to pay taxes on my income but I still need to report it. It is kind of nice getting a little extra income while being at home with my children and not worrying about things that other small businesses need like business insurance and employees.
I was actually surprised by how much we are getting back in tax credits. It will be nice to buy a few things we need like a dresser since our’s is falling a part and a new mattress for Sariah’s bed.

Its always nice to get more than you expect. My taxes probably wont get handed in until the day its due, but I am taking the easy way out and getting Dad to do it.
