So Nice To Have Heat Again

It seems like so many of my friends have had problems with their heaters this winter. Last week it was our turn. The pilot kept going out time after time so we had a technician from Whipple Plumbing come look at it.
Some one came out on Saturday and said there was nothing wrong with it, he didn’t even do a thorough look over of our furnace and even admitted he didn’t know much about the kind of heater we had – a vented hearth heater – even though we told the reception what kind it was. After he left – without turning it back on – our furnace was not working at all.
After calling them back they sent someone out Monday Afternoon. So all morning I watched movies with the kids in our bedroom that was heated with a space heater. Then we ate peanut butter sandwiches and popcorn on the bedroom floor for lunch and put puzzles together. Thank goodness we have space heaters or else I would have been desperate for Orlando vacations for all of us.
The second guy was so much more thorough and actually made sure the heater worked before he left. The company never charged us for the second visit so that helped us have a better impression of them. We haven’t had any more problems so far and hopefully it stays that way.
