21 Weeks Pregnant

I am so excited to get a glimpse of our little baby this Saturday during our ultrasound! JJ really wants to find out the gender so hopefully the baby is in a good position to see that to make daddy happy :)

While sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast JJ pointed out that I had a few “pregnancy pimples” and went on about how cute it was and how it made me look younger – yeah, thanks :) All the women I know who have had their last baby in their 40′s do look very young for their age, including my mom who had the last at 43.  Instead of looking up wrinkle cream reviews in my 40′s I’ll just have another baby :) Crazy to think that Sariah and Rebekah will be almost finished high school before then!

I’m still feeling really good. I have begun to have cramping in my calves at night so I’m going to try some calcium supplements to see if that helps relieve the cramping.

Finding out what the baby is will give JJ some time to get used to having 3 girls .. well, if it is a girl.

I hope it is busy at work so the day goes by fast and then I can go home and talk to you!

    RE: Leg cramping

A banana a day will keep the leg cramps away!

I swear by it! I use to get leg cramps a lot during this pregnancy (and I get more than enough calcium with all the dairy I eat), but then I read that bananas will help get rid of leg cramps. I started eating about one banana a day (or 5 or 6 a week total) and the leg cramps went away. I went one week without bananas (forgot to buy them) and I had leg cramps almost every night that week…including THE MOST PAINFUL leg cramps in both legs simultaneously, leaving me sorely limping around feeling like I had run the Grouse Grind 100X. Let me tell you, I never forgot to eat my bananas again!
