Today I was thinking about the births of my daughters and actually becoming excited to give birth again! It is of course quite a journey going through labour but also a very beautiful and spiritual experience if you allow it to be.

One thing that came to mind that made me laugh is that while in the late stages of labour with Rebekah I threw a bunch of stuff into a plastic grocery bag before heading off to the hospital. This led me to remember about my sister telling me how she used a plastic grocery bag to put all the her things in that she wanted to carry on the airplane with her.

Who needs Eagle Creek luggage when you can re-use plastic bags?

We probably won’t need to do any packing when I am labour this time around because we are planning a home birth!

Well, the thing was I was running late getting to the airport so I just threw a bunch of stuff into a grocery bag. haha. What I do now is carry my water bottle in a plastic bag which some people think is funny, but I have ruined 2 tesxtbook by putting it in my bag and then the water ends up spilling and its now getting too cold to just hold a bottle of cold water. But yeah, reusing plastic bags is good. :)
