Getting Fit Together
Sep
22
Last month JJ bought a bike to ride to school. It only takes him 20 minutes to get to school and it takes 10 min to drive so it’s really not that bad. He says that he enjoys his bike rides and he feels a lot more fit and he’s looking a lot more fit as well.
I wanted to exercise more as well. Most of my exercise comes from taking walks with my daughters but for the days when it is too hot and during the winter I bought a Tony Little’s Gazelle from an online classified for only $30!. I don’t think I’ve lost any weight but I do feel more energized during the day though, so that’s a good thing. Some day I would like to loose the 15 lbs I’ve gained since I got married but I’m not searching how to lose fat anytime soon, though.
I’ll just enjoy my work outs for now and see what happens

I ride my bike when my errands aren’t too far way. Or I walk. I have to say, I’ve never seen my legs look this good. LOL.

Its better to loose weight slower and effectively (exercise and eating right) so thats good that your doing that. In the summer I worked 5-6 days a week and walked there and back (74 blocks total) and weiging myself didn’t show much difference but I went down 2 sizes in pants/skirts and one size in shirts (small to x-small, depending on the make). I also felt great! I also still try to walk on saturdays even though I have a bus pass. Bottom line its not what the scale says that determines how fit you are.
