Our Yard Needs A Lot Of Work!

One of the reasons we bought our house was because of the nice big yard for our kids to run around, have parties and to grow a garden. However I have learned that to keep a nice looking yard you need to water it a lot more than people in Vancouver, British Columbia have to.
One of my goals for next spring is to have a nice looking yard. We have large patches of dead grass and we would like to build a fence across our front yard so we don’t have to worry about kids running into the street which would help me to be able to tend to the yard better if I know the kids are contained. We are also going to plant some flowers and in the areas where it is hard to get the grass to grow we are going to plant wild flowers! Maybe even get some patio furniture for get-together’s with family and friends?
It all looks really nice when I imagine it but we will see how it looks next year!
