Temple Touch Thermometer Review And Giveaway

Having experienced having to take a childs temperature to learn how high their fevers are I know it is very difficut to get an accurate reading on a squirming child when you are holding a thermometer under their tounge or armpit for a whole minute.

PhotobucketI received a Reli-On Temple Touch Thermometer to review and it really does make getting an accurate temperature so much easier. All you do is turn the thermometer on, wait for two beeps, gently press the thermometer up to the temple (area between the eyebrow and hairline) and wait for a beep – It only takes 6 seconds to get the reading! And you can easily take your little one’s temperature while they are asleep. You do have to wait at least 3 minutes inĀ  between temperature takings or else you are going to get an inaccurate reading. The Reli-On Temple Touch can be purchased at Walmart or Sam’s Club for less than $10.

I also received a Temple Touch Thermometer to give away and I am opening it up to all US and Canadian residents! To enter Just leave a comment letting me know that you want to enter. Extra entries can be earned by:

That is a neat idea! We use an ear thermometer and it can be hit and miss.

I would love something like this! Can you believe that my husband and I just use rectal thermometers for our children? We had them when my daughter was an infant (she’ll be five in October) and never switched… it’s funny, they’re more used to that and okay with it than they are with those thermometers you use in the ear!

Anyway, please count me in for this contest. :)
