Rebekah At 24 Months, Sariah At 3 Years 4 Months

It is sad to see my girls grow up so quickly but the joy with watching them learn and progress outweighs that sadness. The funny thing is that it has been two years since Rebekah was born and I still receive insurance marketing mailers congratulating me on the birth of my baby and telling me about life insurance options.
Sariah is currently 28 lbs and 35 inches. So that would be 14 % for weight and 3rd percentile for height so yes she is tiny for her age! Before Sariah turned 3 I had about 10 people tell me that behaviourly 3 years old is harder than 2 years but this is definitely not true for Sariah. She has calmed down so much and is such a helpful, happy 3 year old. If Rebekah is screaming at the grocery store because she wants me to buy a cake Sariah calmly tells Bekah that we’re not buying a cake today. As you can tell from the picture on the left Sariah like to dress herself! She also loves to sing songs and read books. She likes to repeat the words on a page after I read to her. JJ’s parents got Rebekah Candy Land for her birthday and Sariah loves the game. She tried teaching Rebekah how to play but all Bekah wants to do is take all the cards, when I took the whole stack to shuffle the cards, Bekah called out ” HEY SHARE!”.
Rebekah is currently 24.5 lbs and 33.5 inches so 21% for weight and 42% for height. No doubt she will end up taller that Sariah, it will be interesting to see when – only 1.5 inches separate them right now! Rebekah loves to count (she can count up to 15 in correct order!) she also knows a few colours. I think Rebekah’s favourite thing to do is Jump and tumble – she is one active toddler! I love to see her with babies and animals because she is so gentle and loving towards them.
