New Stroller

Over the last 3 and half years we have bought 3 strollers. The first was a single stroller that we bought used before Sariah was born and then before Bekah was born we bought a double stroller for $20. It was a Graco duo glider and it was always a pain to fold but it worked ok until everything started falling apart first it was the sun visors then last week while I was in Salt Lake the seat belts completely came apart.
I spent a week looking for used strollers but all the ones that people were not selling for pretty much the purchase price would not fit in our trunk, I didn’t like the way they pushed or they had descriptions such as “broken seat belt” or “broken wheel”.
So we decided to use some blogging money I have earned to buy a brand new stroller. I had a 15% off coupon for Strollers at Babies R Us so we went there. We tried out all the double strollers they had, pushing both kids around the store and we folded them all to see how easy they were to fold, how compact and heavy they were as well. Even in this ecommerce fulfillment there are still advantages to visiting retail stores!
After reading the reviews on the Toys R Us website I figured that we would buy the Contours Options Tandem Stroller by Kolcraft but when we tried it out we didn’t like it all. It was difficult to fold and too big for our trunk. We ended up buying the Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller.
The funny thing is that JJ is the one that pushed to buy it along with talking about the things he would like for the next baby. We do have 90 days to return the stroller so I will try to use it everyday to make sure I want to keep it. I really do like it so far, it is easy to push, Extremely easy to fold and pull out and it has a huge basket to put all my groceries into which is great because I prefer to walk to the Albertson’s if I’m going there. I hope the stroller lasts us a long time.

I really like this stroller and it is so much nicer than your last one. I think its a good idea to invest in buying things like strollers new as they are probably more safe and will likely last quite awhile.
