A Week Of Family Fun

My parents and sisters arrived at my house with all their luggage and pet supplies for their dog at 12:30 am last thursday. They all crashed at my house for the night and then went motel hunting that afternoon. They actually got a really good rate $250 total for 5 days and that’s including a $50 charge for the dog.
We had a lot of fun together. We went to the farm at Thanksgiving point which Rebekah loved. She was so excited to see the animals and threw a tantrum when she her pony ride was over. Sariah’s favourite part of the farm was playing with the puzzles inside the barn.
My dad and JJ spent the weekend remodeling our kitchen. It is not completely done yet but it looks so much nicer than what we had before and there is a lot more counter and cupboard space. I spent saturday at the mall with my twin sister, Sara-Jayne and my daughters. I don’t usually like going to malls but I really enjoyed spending the day with Sara-Jayne and I even bought something! A top at Down East Outifitters. My mom also bought me a couple tops and my sister gave me some clothes that she didn’t want anymore.
On Monday Me, Sariah, Rebekah, Sara-Jayne and my dad went down to Salt Lake to visit a couple we know from British Columbia who are serving a Family History mission on Temple Square. We had lunch at the Nauvoo Cafe, they have really good sandwiches! My dad bought Sariah and Rebekah a lollipop each which they spent the rest of the day eating. I was able to convince them to put the lollipops away so we could walk around the Church History Museum. They currently have an “I Am A Child Of God” exhibit for children. Rebekah loved the baby dolls and Sariah loved making a temple with the blocks.
Monday evening we celebrated Rebekah’s 2nd birthday! We went to the waterpark with my family and JJ’s brother and sister-in-law. Then we had cake and ice cream.
