First Harvest And Huggies Diaper Sale

Yesterday I picked 2 Zucchini’s from our vegetable garden that had grown big enough to be harvested. Sariah and Rebekah were so excited to eat some “keeny” as they called it. We made a pizza with Zucchini, tomatoes, onions and Spinach it was yummy and healthy! It is so much fun to eat food right from our own garden and it saves money on groceries as well speaking of grocery savings check out the diaper deal below.
Yesterday I also went to Walgreens to buy diapers since my family is going to be in town and I figure it would be a lot easier to use disposable diapers during all day outing than using cloth diapers. At Walgreens if you spend $20 on Huggies diapers you get a $5 register reward to use over the next two weeks. I got a pack of size 3 and I grabbed the last size 4 they had. I also bought 10 boxes of 4 serving gelatin and a book of 20 postal stamps. The diapers only cost about $6 a bag with the coupons I used. If you live in Provo you can get in on this deal tomorrow – Thursday – when they restock.
Retails at: $38.86
Sunday Paper Coupons – $3
Store coupons – $9.67
Total Paid: $24.21
Money left for the month: $119.01

Huggies over here are considered as one of the ‘prime’ brands for diapers. So we never bought them for our boys… We often get diapers that were much cheaper, cos they were too much of an expense, especially when the boys were alot younger, with 6 changes a day. *Phew* Those ‘expensive’ days are long gone. Finally!
