I wasn’t planning on buying groceries today but I went to Albertsons to get a prescription filled for my daughter and decided to buy some groceries while waiting for the prescription to be ready to be picked up. I could have probably saved more money if I prepared better but luckily I have an organized coupon binder so I was able to find coupons for the sale items.

Here is what I got:

48 oz canola cooking oil, 2 PAM cooking sprays, 4 cans diced tomatoes, 6 cans Chef Boyardee pasta (all for JJ!), 2 lbs of butter, 2 Healthy Choice frozen entrees and 1 Marie Callendar frozen entree.

Retail Price: $50.79
Sales – $19.42
Coupons – 14.12
Total Spent: 17.25

Plus I have a $10 off coupon to use within the next 2 weeks.

Money left this month – $78.42
