Telus is one of Canada’s largest providers of home network services. They own a lot of cell towers and they also have a long list of charities they support. 480 to be exact.
Telus is sponsoring the Walk To Cure Diabetes that my parents and little sisters will be taking part in. The walk takes place at the Greater Vancouver Zoo on June 14, 2009.
My mom asked me to set up a fundraising page for Mikayla, my youngest sister who was diagnosed with diabetes almost 2 years ago. Shortly before my family had planned to come visit us to see Rebekah for the first time and attend her baby blessing. We ended up going to Canada for the blessing.
Mikayla was only 7 years old when she was diagnosed and far braver than I would be if I was in her situation.
