Making Our House Our Own

We bought our house 6 months ago and we are now starting to add our personal touches to it. We are going to start with painting our house. Sherwin Williams had a 30% off sale during the memorial day weekend which made their high quality paints very reasonably priced. We picked out neutral colours, I love neutral colours for homes because they will never go out of style.
I LOVE the colour we are going to paint the master bedroom. The colour is called ‘Herbal Wash’. To give you an idea on what the colour is, look at the walls on this picture. I found the picture on the Outer Banks homes gallery. I think it is such a beautiful, relaxing green.
After we paint the interior of our house we are going to buy new kitchen cabinets from Ikea. We have our cabinet money sitting in our savings account until we are ready to buy our cabinets. Ikea has really nice kitchen designs and they are also one of the cheapest places to buy kitchen cabinets. Our house is going to look so nice after those two projects are done.

The only other I want to do to the house is build a fence across the front yard just so I don’t need to worry as much about the kids running into the road. That will probably be a project for spring next year.
