Review Of Purex’s New 3 in 1 Laundry Sheets
May

I recently had the opportunity to be among the first to try out Purex’s new 3 in 1 Laundry Sheets. This is a really cool idea. It is just one sheet that has laundry detergent, fabric softener and anti-static all in one. You throw the sheet in your washing machine (no measuring or making sure the detergent is put in before you throw your clothes in).
I don’t usually use fabric softener or anti-static and I prefer to hang my clothes up to dry. But these laundry sheets will come in handy during the cold winter months or when it is late at night and laundry really needs to be done. If you all those three product this new Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheet will make your busy life a little bit easier!
Here is a little video of me trying out the laundry sheet for the first time:
I might even be comfortable with my husband doing laundry if he uses the Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheet!

I can’t wait to try these… no more lugging bottles down/up 3 flights of stairs to the laundry room!

I tried the Purex 3 in 1 and I wouldn’t recommend them! I loved the idea of not having all those bottles of other things all over, one sheet does it all. I found myself using extra fabric softener and Bounce dryer sheets. I even used a little more laundry detergent! I love using Purex, I use the Purex Natural Elements right now. I have used Purex for years and will continue to do so but I really really wouldn’t recommend using these. I tried to post my experience on the Purex site and they wouldn’t allow it!

Lyssa, thanks for sharing your experience. Different products work for different people. For me I found that there was just the right amount of detergent but I probably wouldn’t pay full price for it. I did buy it last week because I got it super cheap with a sale/coupon combo.

I love the ease of these Purex laundry sheets but did anyone else notice spots on their clothing or sheets??? The spots looked like little grease spots.

Yes, ruined my new set of sheets. Hasn’t appeared on anything else, but the sheets are a mess. They are exactly like grease spots.

I thought these sheets were an ingenious idea! I bought a package and have had the same problems that other posters here have noted: a need to use supplemental anti-static sheets & mystery, grease-looking spots! I think I remember reading on the outer package (before I threw away the wrapping) that if spots appear, simply re-wash the garment and they will go away. A laundry detergent CREATING spots? Fail Purex, fail.

Worked great the first time, the second time the sheet got sucked out of the washtub with the rinse water and jammed the discharge pump. Can you say quality time with the washing machine repair guy? I’m sticking with a liquid.

I initially loved these sheets, but noticed my clothes didn’t smell fresh and there were greasy spots on everything.
Today confirmed why I quit using them. It cost me $90 to have my repairman pull one of the sheets out of my drain/pump. Not worth the convenience!!!

Ye, I did notice these spots in every load that I have done! The problem is that on the package it says that if you get these spots, just rewash the item. Most of the time you don’t see the spotsuntil after the item has dried, therefore the stain is set in! ;(

Beware. Used these and got 5 ruined shirts with softener spots that will not come out. Have tried several approaches to no avail.
