I Feel Like A Pioneer Woman

This past week has had some disappointing times. Our printer broke (this was actually the second time and Lexmark replaced the first but only with a 1 month warranty – so no more Lexmark) Then yesterday our washing machine broke! I was washing the cloth diapers when the washing machine started making a funny noise during the spin cycle. I lifted the lid up and found that the water was being swished around but not being spun out of the machine. I decided to try again. The same thing happened plus water was leaking out from the bottom of the machine.
Since Sariah was all out of underwear and there was a huge pile of clothes to be washed I went to the Laundromat. I came home and hung up our clothes on our laundry line outside which is what I always do when it’s nice out anyways. Why couldn’t our dryer break instead! While getting Rebekah ready for a nap I realized that I was down to the last cloth diaper cover so while the girls were a sleep (well Sariah playing in her room pretending to be taking a nap) I fished the diapers and covers out of the washing machine and washed them by hand in the bath tub – thank goodness for hand sanitizer!
I plan to call a repair person on Monday and hopefully we can get it fixed without it costing too much.

yeah, I would prefer the dryer break over the washing machine. Hope you get it fixed soon.
