How Does The House Get Messy When You Don’t Stay Home

It has been awhile since I have spent more time away out of the house than inside the house during a week. These past two days have been busy for us.
After playgroup yesterday, my daughters and I went to walk a friends dog. The dog was quite upset when I went into my friends house to get the dog but calmed down when he saw my little girls. I couldn’t find the leash so I just let him run around the yard, do his business and play with my children. They were surprisingly very calm around such a big dog!
After this we walked over to Albertsons to return our free Redbox rental then walked back home. I put the kids down for a nap and made a homemade Pizza for dinner. While I was making dinner I looked at the Calendar and realized it was the 5th (I thought it was the 4th!) and remembered that I had a $5 off $30 purchase and two double coupons for Albertsons that expired that day.
I ended up having to wake Sariah and Rebekah up to go meet up with JJ for dinner as he was working late. After Dinner JJ said that he was working until 10:30 and since the buses don’t run at that time I told him I would pick him up. He then went back to the Lab and Sariah, Bekah and I walked around the campus for a bit then went to Albertsons. I am glad I went as I got some great deals. Not the best money saving experience I’ve had but it was still about 75% savings with Albertson’s standards. It was close to 10:30 when we were done so we left to go pick JJ up.
This morning was busy with more grocery shopping at the Sunflower Market and Walgreens where for the first time the sale items I wanted were still in stock! However I learned that if you use a Walgreen rebate coupon you can only use one coupon per item. I could have went and found a cheap clearance item or buy some gum but I had two hungry girls who wanted to go home eat the strawberries we bought at Sunflower so I just gave up some coupons
But now I know for next time! If you live in Utah today is a great day to go to the Sunflower Market. Strawberries for 88 cents a pound, grapes for 77 cents and natural, boneless, skinless chicken for $1.67 a pound! It seems that the chicken is that price for a week every two months, so that is the only time I now buy chicken. I can’t wait to get some “free” vegetables from my garden this year.
Getting out of the house is great but now I got to catch up on the housework! I am trying to figure out how the house got messy yesterday when I wasn’t home much

I agree. Sometimes I feel like everything messes up on it’s own.
