Sariah’s 3rd Birthday Party

We had so much fun at Sariah’s 3rd birthday party on Saturday. There were a little over 20 people who showed up.
For snacks we had fresh pineapple (4 for $5!) banana’s and JJ made cucumber rolls which turned out well. I made a daisy cake, I got the idea from the Kraft website, obviously it doesn’t look as good as Kraft’s picture, but I tried! I decided to follow the high altitude directions and the cake turned out way too moist so I will just stick with regular directions from now on which have been successful thus far anyways. Don’t know why I waited to try High Altitude baking for the first time to bake Sariah’s Birthday cake!
Sariah was so happy to have her friends over to celebrate with her. Several times during the party she ran over to me to give me a hug. Which was so sweet. We had an easter egg hunt in our back yard where the kids hunted for plastic eggs that we put ‘spring time’ stickers inside of. The kids all seemed to love the stickers and stuck them to their clothes and faces.
I am planning on visiting my family in British Columbia in June, while I am up there I will have to find, scan and post a picture of me at 3, Sariah looks just like me!!!

I am so glad the party went well, I bet Sariah just loved it! I have a few pictures of us around 3 years old .. I think there’s some on facebook but I will look for some more to put up.
