Giveaway: Sylvan Learning Super Reading Success Workbook

Since no one cares more about a child’s education than their parents, these workbooks are a wonderful idea. The 3rd grade and 4th grade ‘Super Reading Success Workbooks’ are available to purchase at the Sylvan Learning Bookstore now for only $18.99. Complete learning kits (pictured on the left) are available for $79.99. The Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 5th grade workbooks will be availble later on this year.
I had the opportunity to review the 3rd grade Super Reading Success Workbook. It is a 3 in 1 workbook which includes spelling, vocabulary and reading comprehension. My first thoughts looking through this book was that it would be perfect for homeschooling families or a summer workbook because as we all know kids forget a lot of what they learned in class over the summer! I even learned a few things looking through this book like what a comparitive and superlative is – see, I forgot some of what I learned in elementary school!
This book is extremely well organized. I love how each activity in a section connects to eachother, which allows the child to really grasp the concepts. The pages are full of interesting stories and fun activities. The workbooks also make it easy for kids to check their own work which will help them gain confidence in their skills. You can download free pages from the workbooks at the Sylvan Learning Bookstore to find out if this is something you would like to purchase for your child.

Random House, the publisher was so kind to give me two of the 3rd grade Super Reading Success workbooks to give away to my readers. I am sure most of you know of a child who could benefit from these books. The book will also come with a $10 off coupon to have your child’s learning assessed at a Sylvan Learning Center. My oldest will be in the 3rd grade next year so this is the perfect prize. I’d like to get the 5th grade writing set since when she was tested this year in reading comp she scored at the 5th grade level. she loves to write her own stories.

Thank you for this contest. My child has had a book in her hand since she was able to hold one. She will be in third grade in August and this is just the thing to help her excel.

Both my children are struggling with reading in different areas. My daughter with comprehension
& spelling, and my son who will be in 3rd grade next year needs work with phonics. I’ve heard great reviews about Sylvan. Thanks for this opportunity!

My daughter is going into 3rd grade this fall and this would be perfect for her. We moved to Texas from Utah about a year ago and with how the school system works here she is a grade behind the rest of her class, so we have been playing catch up. We could use all the extra help right now.
