Rebekah turned 18 months old yesterday which means Sariah turned 34 months (almost three years old!!!)
At our church children start nursery at 18 months but they let Bekah start two Sundays ago. She loves going to nursery, playing with the other children and singing songs. I think her favourite part is snack time – she loves to eat! It feels weird not taking a baby with me to my classes at church.
For a child who loves to eat so much you would think Rebekah would be bigger but she is only 21 lbs and 31 inches. This puts her at the 6th percentile for weight and 26th for height. However Bekah is catching up to Sariah quickly! Sariah is 27 lbs and 33.5 inches. This puts her at the 17th percentile for weight and and 3rd for height! Sariah is sure to be short like Mommy!
This past month Rebekah learned to call herself by her own name and has developed a love for shoes. It sure is cute when she marches around in only Boots and a diaper! Bekah loves to sing and will sing anything from “I Am A Child Of God” to “Viva La Vida”.
Sariah is becoming less like a baby and more like a little girl each day. She doesn’t even look like a baby anymore! However she is becoming more jealous, she never used to care how much I held Rebekah but now she will push Bekah off my lap so she can sit on it! Sariah is becoming quite the ‘memorizer’. She memorizes stories and then will “read” them to me and she also remembers buildings well. She loves to point out the Library when we pass by it!
While I was taking pictures of the girls today either Sariah didn’t want her picture taken or Rebekah didn’t.

I love these stages… the inaccurate pronunciation of words… yet so eager to learn everything, explore everything in sight…
They have such beautiful eyes!
