We are now back home from our Christmas vacation. Sariah and Rebekah were even better on the way home than they were travelling to Alabama, I didn’t think that would have been possible as I thought they were really good before. I think Rebekah realized that no matter how much she whined she was not getting out of her carseat so on the way back home she never whined.

We did have to spend hours singing songs and doing fingerplays with the kids to keep them happy. They also spent a lot of time looking at books and colouring.

JJ went back to school today and is really excited that he is going to be working in the Cancer research lab. The professor only chosed one grad student (JJ) this year. Another professor also wanted him for another lab so I’m sure he feels special about that :)

I am also hoping to get my new glasses today and buy groceries. We also need to start looking for a bed for Rebekah. She sleeps in Sariah’s bed during nap time now and on the couch at night time so she’s ready! Awww…. my baby is growing up.

I’m still trying to shake off the school holiday moods get things back into momentum… *sigh*

JJ should feel real good for being so ‘wanted’ *wink*

I’m so glad they were good on the way home and that you’re all home safe. We miss you guys, and Maddy misses the girls so much. Everyday she says, “I go see Ariah today, ok?” It breaks my heart.

Sariah keeps wanting to look at pictures of Maddy. I wish they lived closer together!

Awwww. Really? =[ it’s so funny because when you first got here, Maddy refused to play with Sariah in her room. But by the end of the night, they were running around chasing each other, sharing play shoes, and babies. She reminded me this morning that “Ariah got up on Lindsay’s bed. Ariah’s mommy said no.”

Me and Adam were discussing that last night. We wished you lived closer. We’d have you and girls over here everyday.

I was surprised that it only took two timeouts to stop Sariah from climbing the bunkbed. Sariah is such a dare-devil, so is Rebekah.

It was so sad seeing her cry after maddy left. The only other time she cried like that was the last time SJ left after visiting us.

After JJ finishes Grad school, JJ and Adam will have to find a job in the same area :)
