Feeling Better
First of all, I am feeling much better from the food poisoning incident. I called the manager of Olive Garden to give him a heads up, I wasn’t expecting them to give me anything but he said that he is sending us a gift card. Maybe in a few months I’ll feel like going back but I’m not ordering the salad again!!!!
I did finally eat something – 1 plain waffle for breakfast and a banana for lunch and ginger ale. I plan on making some homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner. JJ cleaned the kitchen last night so now I have to work up the energy to the rest of the house work I did tackle the loads of laundry but I still need to fold all that laundry.
We are planning on leaving for Alabama on Friday. I was wanting to buy plane tickets over the weekend because I spotted some good deals but JJ said that driving would still be a lot cheaper but I figured the extra money was worth not having to drive for 30 hours with two toddlers. JJ seems set on saving money so I guess we will just drive. JJ found some BYU students who need rides to Georgia so if we take some one else down with us that person can help pay for gas and with an extra driver we may only need to stay at a motel for one night.
I am not sure if JJ will leave me in charge of finding cheap motels anymore. Every chance him and my dad get they tease about the time when them and my brother were staying overnight in Las Vegas during a trip from Arizona to Idaho and they asked me to find some cheap las vegas hotels online and book them a room.
The hotel I booked for them was very cheap but it was right between two strip clubs so they weren’t very happy about that and they couldn’t figure out how to work the air conditioning so they roasted all night. I think we will just wait to find a hotel when we feel like stoping off somewhere but with the Christmas season hotels are sure to be expensive.
