Black Friday Shopping At Walmart

A few days ago I realized that my camera stopped working. We think the hooks that hold the memory card in place broke off because the memory card would not stay in and the camera would not read the card.
JJ knew how much I missed out on taking pictures of the kids I wanted to so he woke up early this morning and braved the crowd at Walmart. He never got the cheapest one because there were too many people after those so he went for the next cheapest. Which was the Kodak Easy Share CD1013. It is 10.3 MP and 3X zoom. It also has smile detection 
It seems like a great camera.
We read some news articles this morning about people who were injured and someone even died while black friday shopping at Walmart. I am surprised that they just let people rush through the doors. Our local Walmart let people inside the store before 5 am but they had all the big sale items guarded and taped up so people could just stand by the #1 item they were after and then at 5 am the tape was cut off and the workers left and people could just start grabbing the item they wanted. For items like the Xbox 360 they had behind a desk in the Auto department and people lined up and a worker handed the boxes to each person one at a time. This method is a lot better than letting hundreds of people rush through a door at the same time. People are after all different things anyways. If someone is really after the tv stands they can stand by those or the camera etc…
The only problem JJ saw was there was some drunk guy bumping everyone with his cart.
While other countries were rioting for food, the US was rioting for electronics … and we are in an economic turmoil?

“Black Friday” sounds like its as scary as its name.
However, that is really sweet of JJ to get you a camera … I’m impressed.

I always go out on Black Friday, but Walmart is the ONLY place I won’t go to. I’ll avoid Walmart til March. It’s too crazy there.
