Last month someone gave us a washing machine but a few days later the lid switch snapped off so I went online to buy a new lid switch. It only cost $18 with shipping which is a lot cheaper than buying it directly from whirlpool. I bought it from the Applicance Care Store their customer service is fantastic and the shipping was quick. I highly recommend them if you need any kind of appliance part or water filter.
Yesterday JJ came home from school early so when we put the kids down for a nap we set off to fix the washing machine. We looked online to help us figure out how to repair the lid switch. We couldn’t find anything that specifically related to the kind of washing machine we have but after looking through several websites we got the idea. It took a couple hours to finish the repair but we did it and we have a working washing machine again! Which is so nice because I hate going to the laundromat and using cloth diapers saves us money.
Fixing something as complicated as a washing machine gives us the feeling that we can fix anything. I do have to give JJ most of the credit, he did the manual labour part
I am sure you can find how to fix most anything from Festina watches to a samsung dvd player searching onlne. We saved a lot of money fixing this washing machine by ourselves, it would have cost close to $200 to have a repair man come.
