Each Monday JJ and I (actually it is just JJ who picks – he gets one on his way home from school) pick a DVD from the RedBox Kiosk with our free Redbox code. I thought it would be a neat idea to share my review of our redbox picks.

Last weeks Pick: The Invasion
When JJ brought this one home I was like “you know I don’t watch horror movies” he said that wasn’t a horror movie it was a suspense. He was right it really wasn’t scary but it was gross with a lot of vomit. I’ll share a little bit about the movie without spoiling it in case you want to watch it.
After the remains of a space shuttle crash lands back on earth those who come in contact with a crash fall victim to a strange ‘alien virus’. More and more people begin to notice that their loved ones are not themselves as the virus victims then go on a mission to infect everyone else. The only way to save ones self is to pretend to be ‘one of them’ and if you are infected stay awake until a vaccine is created. I thought the ‘stare’ of those infected with the virus was funny because my two year old has that stare perfected.
Melissa gives the movie a 6 out of 10 and JJ gives it an 8.

I would give it a 7, the ending was cheesy.
