Yesterday I posted about a great thrift store find, I should also mention about the really nice clothes I bought my husband for his birthday. I got him a nice pair of slacks, button down shirt and tie all for $10 – maybe I should buy myself some clothes. The DI here has a lot of name brand clothing such as Manolo Blahnik. A lot of people say it’s because of the rich Californian’s going to school here, who knows 
My husband’s birthday isn’t until December so I hid it, well later on that day he was looking for some notebook paper and he found the bag of clothes and asked me if I knew whose clothes they were. I told hime it was his birthday present. It worked out well since we had an incoming Grad Student dinner to attend on Wednesday. It was a really nice evening we sat a table with a lot of really nice people. Two of the guys at our table from Singapore even learned that they were related after talking to each other!
We had two of my cousins who are from Scotland and going to school at BYU as well babysit for us. It was really nice to see them again and we are planning on getting together with them again at the end of this month when their brother comes to visit.

Adam did the same to me! He’s been wanting a show on DVD for a long time. I’ve been waiting for it to go on sale. I found the whole season for 12.99. So I bought it since his bday is next month, and he found it.

I bought JJ’s gift so early because JJ drives to school and I was actually using the car that day and know I’m not going to be driving at all when it starts snowing!
