Great Weekend Finds!

As I have mentioned before, we moved to Utah from Washington with no furniture except our bed and the crib. We have slowly been finding great deals from Thrift stores and the classifides. We got a really nice living room set from a Habitat For Humanity Trift store, a dresser and a bed for Sariah from the Deseret Industries (we were even able to talk them down on the price!) and a fridge from the classifides.
This weekend we found even more great deals from the classifides at ksl.com that I was able to use my birthday money from my parents to buy. We got a kitchen table and chairs for $50 and a washing machine for $25! The only thing wrong with the washing machine is that we have to spin it manually for 10 seconds when it gets to the spin cycle for it to start spinning by itself. I prefer to deal with that than having to go to the laundromat and I will also save us $40 a month going back to cloth diapers!

Almost all of our furniture is handed down or DI also. You can find some really good deals that way

Ah, yes. Saving money on diapers….I love not having to buy diapers anymore. congrats on the new furniture.
