Unfortunately my dad was not able to get me a free computer but we did recieve our 2006 tax return this weekend (finally!) and because it took so long for us to get the IRS gave us an extra $300! So we shopped around for a computer and bought one from Best Buy. We learned our lesson and bought a computer with a warranty. Our last computer was a refurbished one and it only lasted for one year! We spent over $600 on this computer so it better last a long time!
However we are not going to be able to get the internet until September 4th, everyone is backed up for at least a week probably with school starting and we live in a college town. All my junk mail and Leptovox blog spam will have to wait until then to be deleted. I am looking forward to going back to making money online and being able to use the computer without everyone in the library staring at me because Sariah is singing “The Wise Man Built His House Upon The Rock” at the top of her lungs.
JJ will start classes next week as well as his teaching assistantship for grad school. Most of the biology and chemistry grad students will be teaching labs but JJ will have his own Chem 105 class. How he explained it is that the students will have a lecture by the professor and then they will go to the class JJ is teaching to ask questions and go through the lessons in more detail. He’ll be good at that, he’s good at making boring things sound interesting.
