Let The Packing Begin

We have to be out of this apartment by August 15th so we have been busy packing and moving stuff in to our house for the last few days. My husband has also been working on putting up new texturing on the ceilings and dry walling the master bedroom. Tonight I am going over to help. It is exciting that we are actually going to be owning our own home soon, we have been budgeting and planning for one since we were married but several times it looked like we would have to give up because medical (babies) and immigration costs kept wiping out our bank account but now that my husband will be making a steady income off his grad school stipend and we were able to use our tax refund for the down payment it is all working out!
We even bought a fridge two days ago, the people we bought it off situation is kind of sad though. They are selling their house and appliances because they are getting divorced. They have 4 very young children which makes it even more sad.

We are doing a lease to own for a couple months. Still, it will be ours soon!

the worst thing for kids are when the parents are no longer in love with each other…*sigh* lets hope the 4 children will grow up to find love manifested in the right way….

Melissa that’s so exciting! It’s so wonderful to finally own your own home; you’re going to absolutely love it! i hope you’re able to post some pictures soon, maybe after you move in and get settled and stuff!
