Something Going Around

Summer isn’t normally a popular time for people to become sick but there is some kind of flu going around here right now. Just after 1 am this morning JJ was complaining of a headache and stomach pains, I took his temperature and he had a bit of a fever. Soon after he was throwing up.
A grocery store close to us is open 24 hours so I went and got him some ginger ale. I also called his bosses to tell him he wont be working today or tomorrow. Hopefully lots of rest will help him recover quickly. I called a friend of mine today and she said she was sick and a few other people we know are sick as well.
This is JJ’s 2nd time being sick in less than a month and Sariah and Rebekah were also sick a couple weeks ago. It is awful seeing people I love sick and tiring caring for the illnesses but I do not wish for trophies I only hope I do not become ill!

I don’t know what it is. I have strep or something. It seems odd to get sick in the summer

Oh! I hope he’s feeling better soon. Sounds like a bug keeps getting passed between family members.

Thank you. He is feeling a lot better now and has decided to go to the lab to catch up on some work.

Oh dear! It’s awfully tiring to the body and mind to take care of the sick in the household, and worse if everyone else seems to have fallen except you….it would take more than just anitbodies to fight it….
over here the bug is runny nose, phelgmy cough….during this period of the year!
