I was so busy this morning meeting with our mortgage lender, talking with our realtor and doing other house stuff. I didn’t even eat breakfast until 11:30! While I was on the phone Sariah decided to decorate the oven and dishwasher with red crayon. Her little hands were scrubbing for a long time, I don’t think it was really a punishment for her because she seemed to enjoy it.
However the worst part of the day is that my glasses keep falling off. I end up going to the optical department at walmart or costco everyone month to get my eyeglasses tightened only for them to become loose a few days later. I try so hard to keep my kids from pulling at my glasses but It is just something kids love to do.

LOL. I agree! If I tell Maddy it’s time to clean her room, she gets so excited. She then starts picking up in the living room and in my room. Her sister, on the other hand, no.

11:30? That’s not good for you!
So, Sariah enjoyed the scrubbing huh? That might be useful for you
I wish I could learn a trick to keep my glasses tight. Then life would be more about WHAT I was seeing and less about TRYING to see it.

That is why I want to switch to contacts. Glasses are just way too tempting. Mine are falling off everyday too!

If only cleaning was still fun for a 10 year old!

do you have those glasses with the flex-hinges (or something like that)? They’re much more resilient and don’t need tightening as much. I know costco has them because that’s where i’ve bought mine.

My dad bought those kind of glasses at Costco as well and he really likes them.

Yeah, He got the easy twist glasses at Superstore with the 50% off coupon I gave him. I always hear lots of good reviews on them. Also, you really can bend them lots of different ways and the don’t break .. I have tried it!
