Serena is a 3 year old girl from Britain who has been fighting neuroblastoma for 18 months. Neuroblastoma is a cancer of the nerve cells. Most people who are diagnosed with this cancer are younger that 5 years old. Serena’s doctors have said that there is nothing more they can do to cure her but there is a in New York that offers another treatment. Serena’s parents are asking for everyone’s help in raising $250,000. Hopefully the hospital will allow them to go ahead with the treatments and then bill them later. Nothing pains the heart of parents more than couldn’t save their kid because they are too poor… *sigh*

I just can’t imagine what it would be like for me to see my child go through a life threatning illness.
