Aren’t they just the two cutest little girls in the world? Of course I am a little biased!
One month from today my little baby will be a year old! I am so sad that she won’t be a little baby anymore. I wasn’t sad when Sariah turned a year old, probably because I was 5 months pregnant and I knew that would soon have another precious baby girl.
Sariah is now 27 months old and becoming so independant (which is not always a good thing!) she wants to dress herself and boss Rebekah around. Two months ago Sariah learned all of the uppercase letters and now she recognizes all the lower case letters aswell. We borrowed the Usborne Farmyard Tales Alphabet Book from the library which helped a lot. We are trying to help Sariah overcome her shyness. She will talk a lot at home but will not say a word in her nursery class at church. I was the same way though, it wasn’t until I was in grade 11 that it occured to me that it would be okay for me to talk at school.
Rebekah is also learning a ton! She took her first step the day before she turned 10 months old and is now taking little steps more often. She loves to take turns push Sariah around on her little car outside and then having Sariah push her. Bekah also learned how to say ‘no’, sign ‘eat’ and ‘want’. Bekah is following in her big sisters footsteps and is a climber as well. she climbs onto the tables and couches! Unlike Sariah though, she is so outgoing and will wave and say hi to people. While walking to the library yesterday she waved and said hi to the construction workers who all waved back to her.
It is so fun to see them grow up together!

I just noticed how short Sariahs bangs are .. hahah .. she’s still adorable though and of course Bekah is such a cutie too!
Don’t worry about Sariah shyness. It is happened to most every little children. My niece too. But once they grow, they’ll become more confident and brave. Nice photo… Cute girls.
