Today my husband started a second summer job working in an Organic Chemistry lab at BYU. Last week he emailed Biology and Chemistry professors if he could volunteer in a lab (so he could get to know the professors before starting grad school). One professor said that he could really use his help and told him that he would pay him! We are happy about that. He just worked for a few hours today and since it was so hot today we figured it would be a great day for the water park.
Provo has a really fun water park though our daughters enjoyed splashing in the pool more than playing in the children’s spray park. While in the big pool I decided to play the ’shark’ game with Sariah that my dad used to play with me. So I went under the water and put my hands together above my head to look like ’shark fins’ but Sariah pulled my head out of the water, patted my back and said “you okay?”. That was very cute! My husband and I also took turns going down the big waterslides. The water slide was the smoothest slide I’ve been down.
During our walk home we stopped off at Subway to eat $5 footlongs. My husband and I were hungry so we dug right in and Sariah looked at us with a surprise look on her face and said “prayer?”. Isn’t that so precious! We need little children to remind us to stop and bless our food!

awwww … Sariah is so sweet! I can’t wait to see her again, make sure you tell her everyday that Auntie is coming to visit her.

Awww..she is sooooo super sweet!
I like the shark thing. I guess all parents play that with their kids at the pool! “Are-you-alright?” That cracked me up!

That sounds so fun! Maybe we’ll have to come down one of these days and go there with you

Maddy does the same thing at night. She’ll kneel and say “prayer”. It melts my heart!
Sounds like you all had a blast!

We will need to that for sure, Kara!

I can imagine how fun to play with children in water park. I believe that will be unforgetable moment. Don’t forget to take some pictures. That’s a good way to record sweet memories.
