I leave Washington with a sweater and pullover on and arrive in Utah too hot in shorts and a t-shirt. This weekend I talked to my parents in British Columbia and my sister in Edmonton, Alberta and they all said that is really hot where they are as well. So it sounds like after a very cold winter and spring it will be a hot summer all over North America.
Whenever I see people out on their lawns sun tanning it always reminds me of when my brother would put his coconut suntanning oil and go outside to tan himself. I told him that he was going to get skin cancer if he kept doing that and he replied with “I would rather die of skin cancer than be white my whole life”. I find it interesting that many people who live in western countries use products to make their skin darker while it is popular for those in the East (such as India) to use skin whitening products to make their skin lighter.
