Why I Love Going To The Laundromat
After countless times of saying I was “never going to use this washing machine again!” upon noticing the poorly washed clothes. I finally decided that I really had enough and learned where the only laundromat in town was.
I have been going to the laundromat for over a month now and I have noticed several positive aspects of it. The most obvious would be that my clothes finally come out of the washing machie clean! Another very rewarding thing for me though is that it is my time to myself. My husband watches the kids and I go to the laundromat and read magazines and talk to the very friendly people of Sequim, Washington (it really is the friendliest city I have lived in!)
My children also benefit from me going to the laundromat by myself. Sariah learns that she can ask daddy for food and other things she needs and Rebekah learns that other people besides mommy can hold her and that mommy can leave and come back again!

Thats a good thing that Bekah can understand that you will leave and come back. I can’t wait to see all of you …. I’m so excited!!

Why is it that our children think Mommy is the only one that can do those things for them?
I’m glad you’re getting some alone time, I think we all need that sometimes.
