post Category: My Children post postMarch 31, 2008

A week and a half ago Sariah celebrated her second birthday and Rebekah turned 8 months old. I was wanting to post this update with a picture but after looking everywhere for my camera I recieved a phone call from my Dad telling me that he had my camera. I guess I will get it back when I see him next.

Sariah is becoming more and more like a little girl than a baby. She always wants to help me cook, clean and take care of Rebekah. Sariah can count to four now and loves to count everything she sees. She is also interested in colours (knows yellow, blue and pink), shapes (knows circles and hearts) and her ABC’s (she knows a,w,l,o).

Sariah loves songs especially ‘5 little ducks’ and ‘twinkle, twinkle little star’.

My mom gave Sariah some Barney videos that were my little sisters and she loves them. The first thing she says when she wakes up is either Oatmeal or Barney.

Rebekah constantly watches Sariah intently and tries to do everything her big sister does. She can walk holding onto furniture, the wall or pushing toys. She has 5 teeth now and uses those teeth to eat everything she can get into her mouth so we need to watch her closely and vaccum/sweep often.

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)

That’s a cool age-gap. My boys are 15 months apart. Though they fight alot, but they definitely quite like twins, thinking alike most of the time.

You’ll see how close your daughters will become as time goes, its a fantastic age-gap. Good for mommy too. “less sleep” for first 3 years, then can really rest better later on, unless you are planning for the 3rd one. *wink*
