I love Easter because I believe it is the most important holiday we celebrate. I hope that as our children grow older my husband and I can have our family focus on the ressurection of Christ than the chocolates. We never gave our children gifts treats yesterday. Saturday night we watched a documentary about Jesus on the discovery channel which was really interesting, I didn’t agree with all of their conclusions but I thought they did do a really good job putting the documentary together. Sunday our church put on a wonderful Easter presentation and a musical fireside later that night.
We are going to have a little Egg hunt for them tonight after we have a spiritual lesson for our Family Home Evening that we have each moday . I am going to fill the Eggs up with cheerio’s because Sariah goes crazy when she gets sugary treats.

Please do not use Keywords for your name.LOL! We put Cheerios in Maddy’s eggs because of her milk and nut allergies.

I would really like to seperate the “Easter” celebration and “Spring Celebrations” by just keeping Sunday as a day of Celebrating the Savior and then other days that weekend to do the egg colouring and easter egg hunt and stuff. So a more serious answer to your last post would be I probably wont even tell my kids their is an Easter Bunny, I like Santa though.
