Sariah started drinking from a bottle at 11 months when I started giving her cows milk and she became quite attached to it. She would always drink too fast from the sippy cup and act like she was choking so that is why I gave her a bottle. I should have been more patient and allowed her to learn how to drink from a cup.
However I decided that since she is almost two she needed to stop drinking from a bottle. At first she would jump up and down and cry everytime I gave her a cup when she asked for milk but that only lasted a week and now she doesn’t ask for a bottle anymore and just expects the cup.
I will be more patient when Rebekah starts drinking cows milk.

I am the go-with-the-flow kind of mommy. My elder one has just started NOT to drink from the bottle, but we go one step at a time, so no bottles in the day only

Every child is different and when they stop using a bottle also differs. Good call changing back to the cup though. she seems to have accepted it and that is great!
