post Category: My Life post postFebruary 15, 2008

In order to be successful with resolutions I think it is important to continually assess how well they are being accomplished. At the beginning of the year I shared these goals that I have for this year:

  • Have learning time with the children each day. (I will be posting more learning activities on learningactivitiesforchildren.com)
  • Exercise 3 times a week (I have 11 pounds left to loose before I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight)
  • Have personal scripture study each day.

Of course there are many opportunites through out the day to teach my children throughout the day especially when I use language extension techniques with them but I would like to have more structured learning times with them. Right now I only accomplish this a couple times a week.

I don’t have a scale so I don’t know how much further I need to go to reach my weight loss goal but my husband has asked me a few times this month if I am eating properly because I look like I’m loosing weight and says that I am not allowed to loose my butt :)

Our family is doing excellant at reading our scriptures everynight but I have some improvement to do with my personal scripture reading.  I should be having personal scripture study each day but so far manage to do this about two times a week.
